Israel is on the eastern Mediterranean Sea, stretches from the North through the Galilee hills southward to the Coastal plains and to the Negev Desert. Bordered by the Great Rift Valley which begins beyond the sources of the River Jordan and extends south through the Dead Sea- the lowest point in the world, into the Red Sea, continuing on into Eastern Africa.

Israel is the historic homeland of the Jewish people and is the only country on earth that inhabits the same nation, bears the same name, speaks the same language, and worships the same God as it did some 3,000 years ago.
